Career Taking off with a degree from the Danish Rhythmic Music Conservatory he started his career with music as his driving force opening one of the first Danish concert places for world music - a place soon to be recognised as the place in Northern Europe. It was also a café and restaurant, and in this hectic and very creative environment he got his first experiences as a man- ager dealing with people and real time management. Over the years he has worked with music, people, organisations and business development at other places, often starting from scratch, building up long lasting organisations that have lived on also after he left. In 1998 he joined Bang & Olufsen as HR- Director. At B&O he worked with management development, programmes for talented employees, the implementation of value driven management, and the roll out of a training programme for all B&O partners globally. He has taken a Diploma in Leadership and courses at Links /INSEAD and Wharton Business School, University of Philadelphia. This has given him a unique opportunity to combine the business sphere with the creative sphere, knowing the strengths, weak- nesses and languages of both, and knowing how much they can actually contribute to one another when competing in a global market where innovation is the way to survive in the long term.
